To promote the web3 convention in the Canary Islands, there are several tactics that can be used, inspired by Gary Vaynerchuk's content creation strategy:
- Develop a content plan that includes multiple types of content to be created for the convention.
On the works
- Create a vlog series documenting the preparation for the event, featuring interviews with speakers and organizers. This can be posted on YouTube and other social media platforms.
Would need on ground footage and will undergo edit process to be used as content once approved
- Write a blog post detailing the benefits of attending the convention, including the opportunity to network with industry leaders. This can be posted on the convention website as well as on Medium and LinkedIn.
I would use a informal tone and get some nice insights about the event.
- Live stream some of the convention sessions on social media platforms like Twitter and YouTube. This will allow people who are unable to attend the convention to still benefit from the content being shared. (Still need to discuss with team if we can organize the livestream and/or digital attendance from speakers and digital ticket buyers)
- Create a podcast featuring interviews with keynote speakers and industry experts. This can be posted on the convention website as well as on platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts.(could be a partial edited extract from weekly sync ) posted on youtube, we would use funnel posts on short content form in social media like instagram or tiktok to drive people to the podcast. Not confirmed
- Create a series of social media posts highlighting the different topics being discussed at the convention. These posts can be shared across all social media platforms. Speaker note posts example use this format
- Create an Instagram story featuring behind-the-scenes footage of the convention. This can be a great way to give people a glimpse into what it's like to attend the convention.
Small effort needed from on ground team and ideally all speakers 45 minutes over 3 days in the first week of editorial plan Editorial plan calendar - Pre & Post WCC
- Create a TikTok challenge that encourages users to share their experience attending the convention. This can be a fun way to engage the audience and get them excited about the event. Would be looking like a bucket challenge or ice bath challenge or something more simple like a hand gesture or drawing/picture
- Host a Twitter chat with industry experts to discuss the latest developments in the web3 space. This can be a great way to generate buzz and get people talking about the convention.
Relatevely easy to achieve please add ideas of possible experts or personalities we can reach out to
- Create a LinkedIn post that highlights the value of attending the convention for professional development. This can be shared on LinkedIn and other professional networks.
We can use a carousel, short video or slideshow to post on LinkedIn, giving a more professional and serious look to it. (LinkedIn still has pretty good organic reach)
- Create an email marketing campaign to promote the convention to subscribers. This can include details about the speakers, sessions, and networking opportunities available at the convention.(still to confirm if we make one, possibly from week 2 so we have a few atendees already, also use the email newsletter creation as a piece of content itself)
